My name is Michael Howard, I was born and raised near Salt Lake City, Utah. I join the United States Air Force in 1986 as a Military Working Dog Handler. My first duty assignment was to Clark Air Base, Republic of the Philippines. In January 1989 I was reassigned to McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. This is where I met my wife Pamela Loso of East Montpelier, Vermont. Pam was in the United States Army as a Veterinarian Technician. I was working a military dog that had very bad ear problems. I had to visit the Vet Tech daily. We became great friends and the rest is history. On April 28, 1990 we were married in East Montpelier, Vermont. While living in Kansas we got our first baby. Her name is Cuddles, she's a black cocker spaniel mix. In 1992 I received orders to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Pam received orders to Korea. Pam decided to end her military career and go with me to Turkey. On January 30, 1994 in a Military hospital near Adana, Turkey, Sarah was born. It was time to move again. I was reassigned to Ramstein Air Base, Germany located near Kaiserslautern. On February 2nd 1998 in a Military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany, Emily was born. We are on the move again, our new home will become Aviano, Italy. We can't wait to see what adventures are waiting for us. |
